Yoga keeps the body and mind healthy, do yoga regularly: MP Shri Rathia

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a group yoga practice was successfully organized at Ranjita Stadium situated at Jashpur district headquarters on the theme of “Yoga for self and society”. Raigarh Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya performed group yoga practice in the district level program. On this occasion, Jashpur MLA Smt. Raimuni Bhagat as special guest and District Panchayat President Smt. Shanti Bhagat, Vice President Shri Upendra Yadav, Municipality Vice President Shri Rajesh Gupta also performed yoga practice as special guests.
MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya, while congratulating and wishing the people of the district on World Yoga Day, said that yoga has been in the tradition of India. The sages of our country have shown the way to adopt yoga for a healthy body and healthy mind. MP Shri Rathiya said that due to the special efforts of the Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi, such a system was demanded for yoga at the international level and the United Nations declared June 21 as World Yoga Day. Under which Yoga Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm not only in the country but all over the world. He said that the practice of yoga activities is necessary to avoid physical disorders. Everyone should be aware of their health, yoga keeps the body and mind healthy, diseases should be avoided by practicing yoga regularly.
Jashpur MLA Mrs. Raimuni Bhagat said that yoga is an eternal medium to establish harmony between the body and the mind, through regular practice of which new self-consciousness arises in the human body. Yoga, the identity of India’s oldest tradition, has today become a symbol of world brotherhood due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Yoga is very important for a better and healthy life, every person should do it regularly.
In the mass yoga program, Padma Shri Shri Jageshwar Yadav, local public representatives, District Panchayat CEO, officers-employees and city residents practiced yoga with the message of yoga for themselves and the society.
District Yoga Coordinator Ashok Kumar Yadav, Yoga Teacher Damrudhar Swarnkar, Shri Shyam Patel Ku. Shraddha Swarnkar, Miss Megha Swarnkar, establishing harmony between mind and body, conducted yoga practice of various arts and asanas for a healthy life through yoga. The participants in the program demonstrated Anulom Vilom, yoga practice, pranayama and meditation including Griva Chalan, Bhujangasana, Pawanmuktasana. Similarly, yoga practice was conducted in all the development blocks of the district on the occasion of International Yoga Day and people were given the message of staying healthy through yoga.
