Chief Minister observes stalls of self-made materials by women’s groups
Raipur, 8 March 2021. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today visited the exhibition organized by the Department of Women and Child Development at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in the capital Raipur on the occasion of International Women’s Day. In the exhibition, materials manufactured by the women self-help groups benefiting from the schemes of the department, models of Adarsh Anganwadi center and stalls of nurturing gardens were installed. In the stall of Adarsh Anganwadi Center, the Chief Minister gave the message of nutrition to young children and adoption of pregnant women and nutrition. On this occasion, children performed learning activities by dancing and singing in sports and games, seeing that the Chief Minister was happy and distributed chocolates to the children. The Chief Minister also appreciated the group of Divyang women who came to the exhibition. Self-made bags, soaps, washing powders, spices, sanitizers, masks, decorative items, Chhattisgarhi dishes, by women’s groups in the exhibition,
On this occasion, Minister of Women and Child Development, Mrs. Anila Bhendia, Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Rashmi Ashish Singh, MLA Mrs. Mamta Chandrakar and Mrs. Anita Sharma, Mrs. Kiranmayi Nayak, Chairperson of State Women’s Commission, Ms. Rajkumari Dewan, Deputy Chairman of State Scheduled Tribes Commission, District Panchayat Raipur chairperson Mrs. Domeshwari Verma, former district panchayat president Mrs. Sharda Verma were present in large number of women from various districts of the state.
