Raipur, 01 December 2020. International Odissi dancer Shrimati Poornashree Raut paid courtesy call to Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike at Raj Bhavan and presented a considerable table book titled Nritya Shastra Purani Genesis. On this occasion, Chief Information Commissioner of Chhattisgarh State Information Commission, Shri M.K. Raut was also present.
The Governor said in the context of quite a table book called Nritya Shastra Mythological Origins, that the culture of Chhattisgarh has been rich since ancient times and the purpose of making the philosophical concept behind the idols of dance on the walls of the ancient temples of the state to music and dance lovers, tourists. This coffee table book published from will prove useful and for this he congratulated and congratulated the writer Purnashree Raut.
Writer Poornashree Raut said that all classical dances originated from mythology. The dance images carved in the walls of Bhoramdev Temple in Chhattisgarh’s Kabirdham district and Vishnu Temple at Janjgir are the conductors of the rich tradition of Indian classical dance. Indian classical dance is known as Devadasi dance in ancient times, as this dance was performed in the sanctum sanctorum and outer covering of the temple. This coffee table book prominently features photographs of Bhoramdev Temple and Vishnu Temple in Chhattisgarh.
