Raipur 14 January 2021. Chief Secretary-in-charge of Chhattisgarh Shri Subrata Sahu reviewed the progress of priority schemes and programs of the Chief Minister in a meeting held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhavan today. He directed the departmental officers to further expedite these schemes and programs.
Officials told in the meeting that the preparations for Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools, which started in the session 2020-21 in the state, have been completed. Various multi-purpose activities are being conducted in the villages, apart from purchasing cow dung and manufacturing vermi compost in the villages which are being developed as livelihood centers. 169 new services will be started through Lokseva Kendra. Presently 260 services are being provided in the state through public service centers. Mr. Sahu has instructed various departments to send detailed information in this regard by 31 January. It was informed in the meeting that a large number of people are taking advantage of the Chief Minister’s Haat-Bazar Clinic started in rural markets. The number of patients undergoing treatment through these clinics is increasing steadily. Taking charge of the schemes related to farmers, the Chief Secretary in-charge Directed that farmers should be encouraged for crops other than paddy. Shri Subrata Sahu said that the construction of stitch for preparing vermi compost in Gouthans should be done with priority so that the implementation of the Godhan Nyaya Yojana can be done in a more effective manner. Management committees should be formed for the smooth functioning of Gothan in all districts of Bastar division. He said that details of how many people are getting employment under the MNREGA should be maintained regularly and presented. He also inquired about the progress made so far towards the establishment of small forest produce, planting of fruit trees and processing units. Shri Subrata Sahu directed that maximum number of saplings should be planted for reimbursement of trees damaged in widening work of National Highways.
