Raipur, 01 September 2020. Chief Secretary Shri R. P. Mandal today announced the Girdawari work being done to assess the production of paddy in the state through video conference, to reach the examination center for the candidates of JEE, NEET entrance exam, IT entrance examinations being held this month. Regarding the transportation system, distribution of compensation to the recently affected extreme affected, availability of necessary resources in the relief camps and payment to the dung vendors through the app under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Shri Mandal has instructed all divisional commissioners and collectors of the state through video conferencing from Chips office in Raipur today to complete the tasks of state government’s priorities in a time-bound manner. He has said to make necessary action plan and implement it effectively.
Mr. Mandal has asked to arrange the necessary vehicles to take the candidates of JEE and NIT to the examination centers set up in Raipur Bilaspur and Durg district. He has specifically asked to collect the candidates of Jashpur, Surguja, Balrampur, Bijapur, Sukma, Bastar and collect them at the district headquarters. Reviewing the work of Girdawari, Mr. Mandal said that it is very important for the farmers of the state to get the right benefits from their hard work. Therefore, all divisional commissioners should inspect this work regularly as well as verify the collector. He has given instructions to disburse relief funds to the most affected people in recent times. He has said that the relief amount should be paid first in cases of loss of life, animal loss, house damage. Also, necessary resources should be arranged in relief camps.
Reviewing the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Shri Mandal said that the officer-in-charge should be deployed for the smooth functioning of the gothanas constructed in the state. The Gothan in-charge will be responsible for the necessary arrangements in Gothan. Availability of fodder in Gothan should also be taken care of. He also gave necessary guidelines regarding the establishment of Gothan in forest areas.
The Chief Secretary informed that the process of payment to the beneficiaries of the scheme will be done through online mode soon. All necessary preparations have been made for this. He has instructed to make online registration of cow dung vendors in all districts by 5 September. Also, self-help groups have also been asked to register. Vermi compost is being made by groups.
Principal Secretary of School Education Department Shri Alok Shukla expressed dissatisfaction with the situation of government English medium schools started in the districts and gave instructions for improvement. He has also given an explanation to the district collectors for using the app created to inform the progress of various schemes under the Chief Minister Darpan Yojana.
Principal Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Department Shri Gaurav Dwivedi has asked to complete the construction of the platform in the paddy procurement centers in a week. Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Medical Education, Mrs. Renu Pillay took information about the treatment being given to the victims of Kovid infection and for the prevention of infection and gave necessary guidelines. During this, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi, Commissioner of Agricultural Production, Dr. M. Geeta, Secretary, General Administration Department, Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary of Women and Child Development, Mr. R. Other senior officials including Prasanna were present.
