Online competition on Biodiversity is being organized by Bio-diversity Board, Chhattisgarh. This competition is being organized to spread the importance and need of biodiversity in the ecosystem. Entries are invited online in 3 categories from participants till 18th May for this contest. In which the first category is – Slogan, participants can write and send a slogan on the imperative of biodiversity in the context of stability, balance and continuity in the ecosystem. Entries have been invited on the topic ‘Cultural Heritage’.
The third category of this competition is Essay, participants can choose any one of the four topics provided in this category. These topics are- Extinction due to the side effects of climate change, Biodiversity, Why is Chhattisgarh sensitive in the context of climate change?, Why biodiversity is necessary for the stability of the ecosystem? and the importance of biodiversity in the ethos and traditional beliefs of Chhattisgarh.
The above competitions are specially organized for school and college students. Interested students can send their entry on email id- [email protected]. First prize ₹ 7000, second prize ₹ 5000, third prize ₹ 3000 and consolation prize ₹ 1000 have been fixed for each category.
