Raipur 22 April 2021. The State Commercial Tax (Excise) and Industries Minister Shri Kavasi Lakhma today reviewed in detail with all the departmental officers of the district of the state regarding the conditions arising out of the corona infection. He informed about the action taken by the department on the supply of medical oxygen for Corona patients and directed to stop illegal liquor in lockdown.
Industries Minister Shri Lakhma gave necessary guidelines from Sukma District Headquarters to the departmental officers associated with video conferencing in view of the growing corona infection in the state and district. During the review of the Department of Industries, he took detailed information from officials about the action taken by the Industries Department for the supply of medical oxygen to the corona patients from the industries of the state. Minister Mr. Lakhma said the state of the industry during the lockdown, including how many industries are currently operating, Employees working in the operated industries were asked to use masks and sanitizers as necessary and follow regular health check-ups of employees working in factories, following social distancing. During the review of the Excise Department, the state should ban the smuggling and sale of illicit liquor at the time of lockdown in the state, and directed to take strict action to prevent liquor coming from other states and illegal liquor produced in the state.
In the departmental review, Minister Shri Lakhma instructed the officers and employees above the age of 45 years to complete the vaccination and prepare a list of all the officers and employees between 18 and 45 years of age. He said that departmental officers should use social distancing, sanitizer and mask regularly. The order issued by the government and district administration to the departmental officers and employees should be completely followed. Minister Shri Lakhma helped in various ways by the industrial institutions and the CSR. The item thanked for the approval given for the treatment of Corona patients. He encouraged the state officials that while keeping safe from the corona, the necessary departmental works should be expedited and the guideline issued at the time of lockdown should be followed.
