Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, who reached Bilaspur as the chief guest in the golden jubilee celebrations of District Industries Association Bilaspur, said in his address that the industries of Chhattisgarh are the engine of development and economy here. The industries here have a big contribution in the development of Chhattisgarh. He said that Single Window System 2.0 has been implemented in the state so that along with establishing a better environment to promote the industry, the problems of all of you can be resolved. The Chief Minister said that in the last 10 years, the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, has worked to take the country forward on the path of development. He is working towards making the country the third economic power of the world.

        In the ceremony, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that with the cooperation of all of you, a resolution has been taken to make the country a developed India by the year 2047. Chhattisgarh is also being prepared to become a developed Chhattisgarh and the cooperation and advice of all of you is necessary in this. He said that on the occasion of the foundation day of Chhattisgarh state on November 1, the vision document of the state will be launched. He said that we are also bringing a new industrial policy, it will also be launched on November 1.

         Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh has mineral reserves including electricity, water, coal, iron, diamond, tin, lithium. There are forest resources as well as forest produce. There is a large production of tomatoes in our Jashpur region and tamarind in Bastar. This will speed up the development of tribal areas. He said that there is a lot of scope for industries in the state and the Chhattisgarh government will provide whatever facilities it can to the industries and will solve the problems. Chief Minister Shri Sai told the officials of the Industry Association that you have skill and strength in your hands. All of you must contribute towards the development of Chhattisgarh and strengthening the economy. Chief Minister Shri Sai talked about taking initiatives to solve the problem of electricity and to establish goodwill with officials and industrialists for a better industrial environment. 

       The special guest at the ceremony, Shri Tokhan Sahu, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Government of India and Bilaspur MP, said that our country’s economy is dependent on agriculture and industry. Industry also generates employment. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has taken the initiative to promote employment-oriented industries. Mudra loans have been increased.

       At the ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw said that industry plays an important role in the development of Chhattisgarh. Industries do not just produce goods and are not a means of earning money. Industry also plays a role in job creation. He said that the Chhattisgarh government is constantly promoting industry. The Prime Minister is also working towards promoting other industries including small scale industries. He congratulated the Bilaspur District Industries Association on its golden jubilee. 

        In the golden jubilee celebration of District Industries Association Bilaspur, the officials of the association felicitated Chief Minister Mr. Sai, very special guest Mr. Tokhan Sahu, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India and MP Bilaspur, special guest Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Saw, MLAs Mr. Amar Agarwal, Mr. Dharam Lal Kaushik, Mr. Dharamjeet Singh, Mr. Sushant Shukla, Mr. Atal Shrivastava, former Chairman Housing Board Mr. Bhupendra Savnani by giving them shawl, coconut and memento. 

        On this occasion, founder member of Bilaspur Industries Association Mr. Harish Kedia, President District Industries Association Mr. Anil Saluja, General Secretary Mr. Sharad Saxena and other officials were present. In the function, the President of Bilaspur Industries Association thanked the Chief Minister for the new industry policy and single window system.
