Chief Minister and Home Minister participated in the presentation program of new laws

India’s new laws are based on the spirit of women’s safety and justice

Regarding the three new laws of India, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has said that this has become possible only because of the visionary thinking of the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. Shri Sai has said that even after so many years of independence, we are following the laws made by the British and the time has come to change them. Shri Sai has said that change is inevitable with time and the country is moving towards better change under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today participated in the presentation of the provisions of new laws at the Old Police Headquarters in Raipur and said that Chhattisgarh Police will not face shortage of resources in the coming time and will further strengthen Chhattisgarh Police on priority basis.

On the occasion of presentation of the provisions of the new laws, State Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma said that better law and order is an important subject of the country. Referring to the new laws, he said that due to the efforts of the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister, it has become possible that we are going to get freedom from the British laws.

Chhattisgarh Director General of Police, Shri Ashok Juneja, while presenting the provisions of new laws before the Chief Minister and Home Minister, gave detailed information about the Indian Justice Code 2023, Civil Defense Code 2023 and Indian Evidence Act 2023. Mr. Juneja said that the new laws have been prepared with the spirit of giving justice to the victim instead of giving punishment. He said that the old laws are based on punishment while the new laws are based on women’s safety and justice.

On the occasion of presentation of the provisions of the new laws, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Manoj Pingua, Principal Secretary Law Mr. Rajneesh Srivastava, ADGP Mr. Vivekananda, ADGP Mr. Amit Kumar, Finance Secretary Mr. Ankit Anand and other senior officers were present.
