On the occasion of Independence Day, school children performed a colorful program in the cultural programs organized at the parade ground of the capital. 350 girl students of Lakshminarayan Girls Higher Secondary School, Raipur gave a beautiful presentation on Saare Jahan Se Accha. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel encouraged and rewarded the girl students. This presentation got first place.
In the presentation of Lakshminarayan Girls Higher Secondary School, Raipur, the brave martyrs of 1857 were mentioned and through dance drama, how they sacrificed their lives and carried forward the freedom struggle of the country. Pandit Girijashankar Mishra Government Higher Secondary School Raipura stood second. His 350 students gave a mesmerizing presentation on Tari Hari Nana, Mor Tari Hari Nana, Suva Bolat Hai. Sua Geet is performed in Chhattisgarh from Diwali to Devuthani Ekadashi. The third position was bagged by Salem English Medium School, where 300 students gave an attractive performance on the song Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawaan. An attempt was made to show the diversity of India through this song. The Chief Minister encouraged and honored the children for their excellent presentation.
