On the occasion of Independence Day, Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Minister of Urban Administration and Development, Labor Department, Government of Chhattisgarh took the salute of the parade by hoisting the flag in the main function organized at Government High School Ground, Janjgir. He read the message of the Chief Minister in the name of the people of the state and wished and congratulated everyone on Independence Day. In the ceremony, colorful balloons symbolizing peace and harmony and unity in diversity were released from the hands of the chief guest in the sky. Chief guest Dr. Dahria honored the families of the martyrs with shawls and shreefal and honored the employees and Gothan committees who did excellent work. On this occasion, MLA Janjgir and Leader of Opposition Mr. Narayan Prasad Chandel, Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Chowdhary, Superintendent of Police Mr. Vijay Aggarwal, public representatives, dignitaries were present.
         The chief guest Dr. Dahria presented a prize money of Rs. Along with this, the presidents of Navagwan (Baloda), Govinda (Bamhnidih), Mudpar B (Pamgarh) and Khokhra (Navagarh) Gothans who did excellent work in Gothan were honoured. Similarly, officers and employees were honored for their excellent services. Along with this, first Swami Atmanand No. 02 in cultural program, second Gurukul International School Banari and third Jigyasa Higher Secondary School Janjgir, award, first CAF 11th Battalion Bharat Rakshit in parade senior category, second district police force, third district women police force, parade junior First in class NCC Troop No. 3 Janjgir,  
     The Chief Guest of the function Dr. Dahria said in the message of the Chief Minister that our justice schemes are flowing like Ganga of love and connecting hearts. He bought paddy from 15 quintals to 20 quintals per acre through the message of the Chief Minister, input subsidy of 20 thousand crores to farmers, purchase of millet for the first time on support price, increasing facilities for farmers, expansion of irrigation facilities, villages from Gothans Coming to economic self-reliance, starting three hundred new RIPAs, selection of land for Food Park, Rs 590 crore help to landless agricultural laborers, employment to more than 32 lakh women, starting ‘Housing Justice Scheme’, registered laborers Various facilities are available, collection of maximum minor forest produce in the country, fast developing infrastructure in scheduled areas, along with food security, nutritional security also gained momentum.
      In the Independence Day message, Minister Dr. Dahria has provided treatment facilities up to 25 lakhs under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, providing up to 70 percent cheaper medicines to patients by operating Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store, appointment of regular teachers for the first time after the formation of the state. Recruitment, starting ‘Chief Minister’s School Jatan Yojana’ for better facilities in school buildings, starting international level residential school in Nava Raipur, starting 71 new colleges with four new music colleges, giving jobs to 42 thousand youths, competitive examinations Gave a message to waive examination fees, give unemployment allowance to one lakh 22 thousand youth, run sports academies and ‘Khelo India Centers’, implement 58 percent reservation in educational institutions.
     The chief guest announced formation of 6 new districts, 32 revenue subdivisions and 100 new tehsils under the simplification of revenue matters, achieving the target of tap connections in all 50.13 lakh rural houses of Chhattisgarh, 43 lakh domestic electricity consumers under Half Electricity Bill Scheme. Rs 3,900 crore exemption to govt, foundation stone laying ceremony of Rajiv Gandhi Super Critical Thermal Power Plant, Rs 12,600 crore worth of development work from DMF, people got relief from government offices, saving cultural heritage, Ram Vanagaman Tourism Circuit, Chhattisgarh Formation of Sanskriti Parishad, winds of change in Naxal areas, refund of money to the victims of chit fund company, message to bring prosperity in Chhattisgarh.
         In the main function of Independence Day, the march past of the parade was done under the leadership of Parade Commander Mr. Pradeep Joshi. Municipality President Mr. Bhagwan Das Gadhewal, District Panchayat Vice President Mr. Raghavendra Pratap Singh, Member of Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board Mrs. Manju Singh, Member of Scheduled Castes Commission Mr. Ramesh Paigwar, Member of Food Commission Mrs. Jyoti Kishan Kashyap, Labor Member of Welfare Board Mr. Harprasad Sahu, Janpad Panchayat President Nawagarh Mrs. Preeti Devi Singh, former MP Mrs. Kamla Devi Patle, former MLA Mr. Motilal Dewangan, former MLA Mr. Chunnilal Sahu, Municipal Vice President Mr. Ashutosh Goswami, a large number of public representatives, dignitaries citizens were present.
