In order to promote tourism in Bilaspur division and to provide benefits from tourism to private and government organizations involved in tourism activities, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has inaugurated regional office cum tourism information center in Bilaspur. Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Mr. Atal Srivastava and other guests inaugurated the Regional Tourist Information Center at Raghavendra Bhawan located at Pratap Chowk.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Tourism Board Mr. Atal Srivastava told that from the Regional Office, the main tourist centers of Bilaspur division Khuntaghat Reservoir, Achanakmar Sanctuary, Malhar, Tala, Ratanpur, Hasdeo Bango, Satrenga, Madkudweep etc. Action will be taken soon in coordination with the concerned departments for development.
All information related to all types of tourism will be provided from this center. Along with this, tourism will be promoted by coordinating tourism activities in all the districts within Bilaspur division from the regional office.
Keeping in view the immense possibilities of tourism in the state, for expansion of the work of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, hotel motel resort reservation, all information related to tourism, promotion and dissemination of Chhattisgarh tourism, run by the tourism board from Bilaspur Regional Office cum Tourist Information Center across the state. Efforts will be made to attract tourists by including tourism products of Bilaspur division.
