Raipur, 18 February 2023Pali Festival Food and Civil Supplies and Culture Minister Shri Amarjeet Bhagat today inaugurated the two-day Pali Mahotsav organized on the occasion of Mahashivaratri in Pali. On this occasion, he said that in the coming times, Pali Mahotsav will take a more grand form and will make its own identity not only in Korba and Chhattisgarh but in the whole country.


Culture Minister Mr. Bhagat said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the work of preservation and promotion of Chhattisgarhi tradition and folk culture is being done. On this occasion, he announced construction of pucca shed at the venue of Pali Mahotsav. The program was presided over by Revenue Minister Shri Jai Singh Agarwal.
Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agarwal while giving best wishes to everyone on Mahashivratri said that a grand event is being organized in the historic city of Pali. He said that all-round development has taken place in the state in the last four years. Due to which there has been progress and prosperity in the state. Schemes are being run by the government for the development of all sections. The people of the state are moving towards economic progress by works like loan waiver of farmers, purchase of paddy at Rs 2500 a quintal, purchase of forest produce.

On the first day of Pali Mahotsav, attractive cultural programs enthralled the audience. Attractive Shiv tableau of Jabalpur, piano playing by Razi Mohammad, panthi dance by Basant Baghel’s team, attractive puppet dance by Bilaspur’s team, besides school children also presented cultural programme.
