Today, like every year, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted directly with school children, teachers and parents to celebrate the examination like a festival and to remove the related stress among the students. On this occasion, Prime Minister Shri Modi interacted directly with the children and gave them tips to celebrate the examination like a festival, stress-free and with enthusiasm. In the discussion program on examination, Prime Minister Shri Modi made Umeshwari, a student of Sukma, Chhattisgarh, sit with him. Sheikh Taifur Rehman, a student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kanker, while questioning the Prime Minister, asked – Most of the students feel nervous during the examination, like not reading the questions properly etc. My question to you is how to avoid these mistakes, please give your guidance? To which Prime Minister Shri Modi replied that it is very important to be patient, not get overexcited and see the examination like a celebration.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, School Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Anuj Sharma, Guru Khushwant Saheb participated in the live telecast program of discussion on examination organized at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that every year the Prime Minister discusses with the students before the examination and tells them the tricks to become successful candidates. It also explains how you can keep yourself away from stress while preparing for the exam. Their program, Pariksha Pe Charcha, organized every year, is a very popular program. Today’s program was the seventh such program. The Prime Minister of the country is worried about you people, because you are the future of the country. The Prime Minister’s message to you is that exams are a celebration. Prepare for it like a festival, with enthusiasm and full energy. Positivity and hard work are the keys to success for students. You have to maintain your positivity while overcoming every challenge.
The Chief Minister told the children that preparation for the course can be done properly only when you prepare properly to maintain your physical and mental health. The better balance you maintain between studies and health, the greater will be the guarantee of your success. The Prime Minister has given you many tips for success. All I would say is that during the exam, keep your diet right, do regular exercise, do regular yoga and meditation. There are trials at every step in life. After success in school examinations, the examinations of the school of life begin. These same tips are useful for success in those exams also. Our Prime Minister is continuously working for changes in the education system and policy in the country. School Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal also addressed the program. Shri Aggarwal said that we all have to make preparations by staying focused on the goal. Our goal should remain focused. The Prime Minister told all of you how to prepare for the exam without stress.
Live telecast of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program was seen live on all news channels along with DD News, DD National, DD India, FM Radio, Facebook Live, YouTube channel and website of DLW portal. Students, teachers and parents of Chhattisgarh participated enthusiastically in it. Last year 2023, 62 thousand 077 students from the state sent their articles on various issues and 12 thousand 355 teachers sent their articles and registered their presence and 77 thousand 308 people including 2 thousand 876 parents participated. This year, students, parents and teachers from class 6th to 12th have been given the opportunity to participate. According to the information received from the Government of India, till January 12, 2024, 1 lakh 56 thousand 459 students, 21 thousand 607 teachers and 5 thousand 963 parents had registered. One teacher and 2 students from the state participated in the discussion. In the year 2018, only 22 thousand people had participated in the discussion on examination, which increased by 102 times in six years to more than 2 crore 26 lakh this year.
It is noteworthy that Anita Pahare, teacher of Swami Atmanand School, Tongpal from Chhattisgarh, and Shivam Bansal, student of Kota Atmanand School, also participated in the discussion program in the examination held in Delhi today.
