5 percent increase in the rate of dearness allowance in the seventh pay scale and
11 percent increase in the sixth pay scale
Government servants will get increased dearness allowance from 01 July 2023
After the increase, now
dearness allowance will be given at the rate of 38 percent in the seventh pay scale and 212 percent in the sixth pay scale

In the cabinet meeting held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, it has been decided to increase the dearness allowance of the officers and employees of the state government. An order in this regard has been issued by the Finance Department to the Ministry today itself. The rate of dearness allowance has been increased by 5 percent in the seventh pay scale and 11 percent in the sixth pay scale from July 01, 2023.
Government servants are being paid 33 percent dearness allowance in the seventh pay scale, after an increase of 5 percent, now government servants will be paid dearness allowance at the rate of 38 percent. The increased dearness allowance will be payable to government servants from July 01, 2023. Similarly, 201 percent dearness allowance is being paid to government servants in the sixth pay scale, after an increase of 11 percent, dearness allowance will be paid to government servants at the rate of 212 percent from July 01, 2023.
