Raipur, August 21, 2023

The specialty of the people of Chhattisgarh is that we respect disagreements as well. Consults people and then formulates policies. The good practices are kept intact, those which have some errors and there is scope for improvement, they are rectified. This simplicity came within us because this land is the maternal home of Lord Ram. Here there is influence of saints like Kabir, Gurughasidas and Vivekananda. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said this in his address on the occasion of the launch of NDTV’s Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh regional channel. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh is a cultural unit. Although the state was formed in the year 2000, the dreams of the people regarding the state of Chhattisgarh could not be fulfilled. Chhattisgarhi culture should have got the opportunity to flourish in a new state, Could not find such. We have done this work. We have started the work of saving our heritage. Lord Ram is our nephew, we started the development work of Ram Van Path Gaman Complex, connected with him. We started the expansion work of Kaushalya Mata Temple. We have done the work of saving our cultural and identity.

The Chief Minister said that we made policies according to the needs of Chhattisgarh and understanding the environment here. For example, when it came to taking health services to the people, we chose haat bazaars. Hot markets are at the main center of people’s activities. Lakhs of people were benefited by sending mobile medical vans here. Education in English Medium was the biggest demand of the time. We started such schools under the Swami Atmanand Utsaksh Vidyalaya Yojana. Along with this English Medium Colleges were started and in future also English Medium Colleges will be started as per the need.

The Chief Minister said that according to the report of NITI Aayog, 40 lakh people have come out of poverty in Chhattisgarh in the last five years. This became possible because the benefits of our justice schemes reached the people, every section of people got benefited from it and the entire economy got a boost from it. Our schemes have brought prosperity in every section of the state.
