After Swami Atmanand English Medium School was started in the state on the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel with the aim of providing education in English medium to the school children, now Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Adarsh College is being established. The approval of 4 colleges in the state has been granted by the Higher Education Department. This will be of great convenience to the students pursuing school education through English medium. Now they will not have to go to other states for higher education.
In implementation of the announcement made in the Chief Minister’s budget speech in the Vidhansabha, permission has been given by the state government to start classes along with the approval of creation of new posts including establishment of Swami Atmanand Government English Medium Adarsh College. According to the information received from the Higher Education Department, according to the provisions made in the new item of the main budget 2023-24, approval has been granted for the establishment of 04 English medium model colleges. Along with this, permission has been granted to start classes along with the approval of creation of 132 posts at the rate of 33 posts for each college.

04 for Principal, 48 for Assistant Professor, 04 for Librarian, 04 for Sports Officer, 04 for Assistant Grade-01, 20 for Lab Technician, 04 for Assistant Grade-02, 04 for Assistant Grade-03 20 posts have been created for Laboratory Attendant, 08 for Peon, 04 for Book Lifter, 04 for Cleaner and 04 for Chowkidar.
