According to the announcement of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, on Thursday, 23 March 2023 , there will be a general holiday in the municipal and municipal areas of the state for the Chetrichandra (Chautichand) festival. In this regard, notification of general holiday has been issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.
On March 23 , all banks and other government financial institutions , treasuries , sub-treasuries , co-operative banks etc. will remain open in the state. All government offices located in Naya Raipur will remain open. All government offices will remain open even in the rural areas of the state.
