Raipur, 15 February 2022. According to the announcement of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, during the Rajim Maghi Punni Mela to be held in the year 2022, six country and foreign liquor shops around the Rajim Mela area will remain closed from 16 February to 01 March 2022. An order to this effect has been issued by the Commercial Tax (Excise) Department located at Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, the collectors of Gariaband, Dhamtari and Raipur districts have been directed to strictly implement this order.
According to the order issued by the Commercial Tax (Excise) Department, during the Rajim Maghi Punni Mela, country and foreign liquor shops around the Rajim Mela area, country-foreign liquor shops, Rajim (external) district Gariaband, country-foreign liquor shops Gobra Nawapara, District Raipur and country and foreign liquor shops, Magarlod district, Dhamtari, a total of 06 country and foreign liquor shops will remain closed from 16 February to 01 March 2022.
