Raipur 11 February. According to the announcement of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the rules related to felling of trees on private land have been simplified. The said rules have become effective immediately with the publication in the Official Gazette. Now the landowner will not have to face various kinds of difficulties for the felling of trees in private land. According to the new rule, on the application of the land owner, the sub-divisional officer can make a revenue recommendation for the permission to cut the trees naturally planted in his land. The felling of the said tree will be done by the Forest Department with the recommendation of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Revenue. Apart from this, if the land owner has planted a tree on the land, then the land owner will have to give a self-declaration letter to the sub-divisional officer revenue for permission to cut the tree that the said plantation was done by me.
