The date for taking out the tableau has been fixed on 30th September in Raipur. Collector Sarveshwar Bhure has instructed all the officers to make necessary arrangements during the tableau. Tableaux are being taken out in the city for the last 50 years. In this, Ganesh ji along with other idols are decorated and depicted on the basis of Hindu scriptures and religious beliefs. Before Ganesh immersion, the Municipal Corporation staff is busy in improving different roads of the city. The Corporation Commissioner has given instructions to improve the road before the immersion of Ganesh idols. A few days ago, the BJP councilor group had also demonstrated against the bad roads of the city. In this demonstration, BJP had demanded to fix the potholes on the roads by immersion of Ganesh idols.
600 soldiers deployed in tableau
Additional SP Lakhan Patle said, a team of 600 policemen will be deployed for security arrangements at the tableau. Barricading will be done in the roads around the routes through which the tableaux will pass. Police will be deployed in civil dress to crack down on miscreants. Police teams will be present at the intersections, which will check the vehicles. Bappa’s farewell will be held from 28th September.
Immersion of idols of Lord Ganesha will start from 28th September, Anant Chaturdashi. The Municipal Corporation has made arrangements for immersion of the idol in the immersion pond built on the Kharun River. The Municipal Corporation Commissioner has also constituted a team for complete arrangements at the Ganesh immersion site. The team will be deployed from 6 am on September 28 to 6 am on October 4.
Tableaux will emerge from this route
This time more than 50 tableaux will be taken out in the city. These tableaux will leave from Sharda Chowk and go through Jai Stambh Chowk, Malviya Road, City Kotwali Chowk, Sadar Bazaar, Satti Bazaar Marg, Kankali Para Chowk, Lakhnagar Chowk in front of Purani Basti police station, Sunder Nagar, Raipura Underbridge to Mahadev Ghat.
