Raipur: Immediately make available medicines for people with symptoms of corona in rural areas: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel

The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, discussed in detail and sought suggestions from all Zilla Panchayat presidents about the status of corona infection in rural areas of the state, its control and prevention measures, through videoconferencing held at his residence office here today. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that we had won the last battle of corona infection with the participation of all the people in the state. We will also win the current battle with caution and cooperation of all people. He said that the current round of corona infection is more deadly, we need to be very careful. He said that the people with the initial symptoms of Kovid in rural areas should immediately start taking medicines recommended by the Health Department. So that corona infection can be prevented from becoming serious. The Chief Minister said that the Health Department has started supplying corona medicines in rural areas of the state as well. Slips and medicines (Kovid kits) are being made available to the symptomatic patients through the field staff and Mitannins of the Health Department. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that as soon as a person is diagnosed with cold, cough, fever and corona infection, he should start taking the prescribed medicines initially without waiting for the report of the corona examination. He also appealed to the district panchayat presidents and rural representatives to make people aware and explain in this regard. During this period, the Chief Minister asked all the District Panchayat Presidents to examine the status of corona infection in their district, health check-up of workers and people coming from other states, arrangement of quarantine center, operation of employment oriented works and other matters. Got information. He said that the state government is with you in this hour of crisis. Together we will fight and win the fight for the prevention of Corona.
The Chief Minister said that in view of the adverse situation of Corona infection and the crisis of livelihood employment, the Government of Chhattisgarh has decided to give food grains in the months of May and June free of cost. He also spoke about conducting the work of MNREGA from the villagers’ opinion in the villages. The Chief Minister said that this will keep people engaged in labor works. Their mind will remain and with the economic benefit, infrastructure will also be built. In view of the hot weather, the Chief Minister said that special attention should be given to the Panchayats on the provision of supply of pure drinking water in rural areas. He directed to ensure the provision of basic facilities in the Quarantine Center set up in the villages.
Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu appealed to the District Panchayat Presidents and rural representatives to motivate people to be aware and motivated to take measures for prevention of corona. He said that caution is the biggest solution to prevent infection. Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev said that 10–10 oxygen-rich beds will be arranged in all community health centers of the state under Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. He also talked about supplying CT scan machines, Remedisivir injections to the districts as per their requirement. Minister Mr. Singhdev also directed to provide job cards under MNREGA to provide work to the workers coming from outside in the villages.
Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain directed the Chief Executive Officers of the District Panchayat to keep the people coming from outside in the villages in the Quarantine Center and to follow their arrangements and testing Corona Guidelines.
