Instructions to survey parties to follow all measures and protocols to avoid corona infection.
Raipur. 3 October 2020. The Health Department team will go door-to-door to identify symptomatic patients of Kovid-19 under the Corona Intensive Community Survey Campaign starting from October 2 in Chhattisgarh. Duty of field workers of Mitanins, Anganwadi workers and assistants, multi-purpose health workers, community health officers, Panchayat and Rural Development Department and Urban Administration and Development Department have been deployed in rural and urban areas for the campaign. The Health Department has instructed all survey parties to strictly follow all measures and protocols to avoid corona infection during the campaign. This intensive campaign will be conducted across the state till 12 October.
During the campaign, intensive door-to-door community survey will be done to identify all the patients of Kovid-19 at the earliest and ensure prompt treatment. Also, the chain of infection will be broken through isolation. The survey team set up for the campaign will visit area-wise homes and gather information about people with signs of corona infection. On the basis of the information, a check will be arranged by the Block Medical Officer. Persons with symptoms such as fever, cold, cough, shortness of breath, body pain, diarrhea and vomiting, smelling or loss of taste will be classified as suspected patients.
If there is a high number of patients suspected of corona, high risk groups will be screened first on priority. Persons above 60 years of age, pregnant women, children under five, diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, cancer, TB, sicklesail and AIDS are included in the high risk category. The samples of all such individuals will be subjected to RTPCR examination when the Rapid Antigen Detection Report of high risk group symptomatic persons is negative.
