Raipur 20 January 2021. On the third day of corona vaccination in Chhattisgarh, Dr. OP Sundarani, Head of ICU of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital and Dr. K. K. Panda, Principal Doctor of Pulmonary Medicine, got the corona vaccine today. Both doctors are healthy and returned to hospital after vaccination. Both urged the medical staff to get vaccinated as it is completely safe and set an example in front of the general public.
With the knocking of Corona in Chhattisgarh, both doctors continued to engage with other doctors and staff of Makehara in the treatment of Corona patients without stopping. Apart from this, due to being a referral center, he was also giving guidance to the doctors of other hospitals of the state. On line training was also given to doctors. He was equally happy to serve the patients and get home after recovering from them. Dr. Sundarani said that he did not take any leave during the Corona period. Dr. Panda said that he kept doing duty even during festivals so that patients could be healthy. This gives them immense happiness.
Experts say that even after applying the vaccine, everyone should follow the covid-friendly behavior by applying masks, keeping a safe distance and taking care of the hygiene and they are also keeping it. According to physicians, the immune system develops in the body only 14 days after the second dose of the vaccine. Experts are still saying that reducing infection does not mean that it cannot spread further. Everyone needs to be vigilant even then, only then can one survive the corona infection. The corona vaccination in the state will be on the pre-scheduled session site from 9 am to 5 pm on all days except Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
