Chief Minister affectionately hosted the villagers of Surguja on a feast
The villagers, whose houses’ Chief Minister visited and had a meal there during Bhent-Mulakat program, were invited with family for a feast at CM House
Chief Minister was impressed by the sketching skills of Madhulika, a student of Surguja; gave instructions to provide assistance for her admission in Khairagarh University
Raipur, 29 May 2023, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel invited the rural families from Sarguja on a feast at his residence today. These rural families were the ones who had hosted Chief Minister on lunch at their houses during the Bhent-Mulakat tour. While welcoming the guests from Sarguja, Chief Minister said that you welcomed me in your houses with such warmth and affection and served me meals with love. I am overwhelmed. I still remember the taste of delicious ‘bhaji’ and other delicacies that were served to me by you all during the Bhent-Mulakat tour. Today, I have got the opportunity to welcome all of you at my residence, said Mr. Baghel. During the meal, Chief Minister personally welcomed the families and asked them about their well-being. Chief Minister welcomed the guests from Surguja with traditional Chhattisgarhi dishes like moong dal ka dehati bada, moong bhata aloo ki sabzi, tomato chutney and aam panna.
Chief Minister appreciated Madhulika’s sketching skills, assured her of providing assistance for studies
Kumari Madhulika Prajapati, who came from Karji village of Surguja, said to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel- during your visit to my house, I had presented you a sketch of yours made by me. And I am overjoyed to tell you that the photograph of that sketch has been featured on the cover of ‘Janman’ magazine. This is the reason why I have once again made a sketch of yours as a present for you today. Madhulika told Chief Minister that she has passed her 12th examination and wants to study art from Khairagarh University. Chief Minister appreciated Madhulika’s art and skill and directed the officials to ensure her admission in Khairagarh University.
Mr. Gaurishankar Yadav, a resident of Bagbahar of Pathalgaon assembly constituency, who was at CM House today on the invitation of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, shared his experience saying that never in our dreams we had imagined that Chief Minister himself would grace us with his presence in our house. We got to serve him the home-cooked traditional meal, which the Chief Minister accepted affectionately. Today, Chief Minister has honored us with the invitation to share a meal with him at his residence.
Mr. Rajnath Ekka, who came from Rajapur village of Mainpat development block of Sitapur constituency, told that we had fed Lakda chutney and Koilari Bhaji to the Chief Minister, when he visited our home. It was like a dream come true for us. But today, we feel special yet overwhelmed to arrive at CM House as a guest today. He had brought jaggery from home and litchi from his garden as a gift for the Chief Minister.
Samari came all the way from Shankargarh, the place from where Chief Minister Mr. Baghel commenced Bhent-Mulakat program on May 4 last year. Mr. Satyanarayan Agarwal of Shankargarh also appreciated the traditional values of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel.
Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, School Education Minister Dr. Prem Sai Singh Tekam, Parliamentary Secretaries Mrs. Ambika Singhdeo and Mr. Parasnath Rajwade, MLA Mr. Rampukar Singh, Mr. Khelsai Singh, Dr. Vinay Jaiswal, Mr. Gulab Kamro, Mr. Vinay Bhagat were present on the occasion.
