1848 beneficiaries in the district received Forest Rights Pattas from the Chief Minister within three days
More than 17,000 Forest Rights Pattas have been distributed in the Koriya district
Raipur / 3 July 2022/Durgesh, a villager hailing from Chirmi in Khadgava Block, today received Forest Rights Certificate of 6.25 Acres acreage from the Chief Minister. Durgesh is delighted because he has received this certificate from the hands of the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh himself. After receiving the Forest Rights Patta, Durgesh will not only be able to sell paddy but also receive the benefits of various Government schemes.
Chhotelal, a resident of the village Jilibandh in Khadgava Block, today received a Forest Rights Certificate of 5 Acres acreage from the Chief Minister. Chhotelal said that he had no knowledge of either support price or the Rajiv Gandhi Kissan Nyay Scheme, as he wasn’t able to sell paddy due to the absence of a Forest Rights Patta. Now, however, he will be able to sell paddy at support price and will also be eligible for bonuses.
The Chief Minister today distributed 174 Forest Rights Certificates in the Bhent Mulaqat Center of Podi village and 161 certificates in Patna village. In this way, the Chief Minister has provided 1848 Forest Rights Certificates to beneficiaries in the Koriya district in three days. In the Koriya district, till now, 17282 Forest Rights Pattas of 15 thousand 81 Hectares acreage have been distributed under the Personal Forest Rights Claim. Similarly, 1 thousand 514 pattas of 18 thousand 5 Hectare acreage under the Community Forest Rights Claim and 165 Pattas of 9 thousand 138 Hectares acreage under the Community Forest Resource Rights Claim have also been distributed.
Under the Bhupesh Baghel – led Chhattisgarh Government’s ambitious scheme Forest Rights Patta, the people occupying the forest lands are securing their ownership rights on these lands due to the thoughtful schemes of the State Government. They are now finally free from the concerns of the forest land’s possession.
The beneficiaries say that the effort of the Chief Minister to save the forests and encourage the rural livelihood while boosting the economy of the state is incredible.
