District hospitals and CHCs have facilities for many types of tests at the local level.
120 types of tests in Hummer Lab of District Hospitals and 60 in CHC Lab

Patients are getting the facilities of various types of tests at the local level from the Hummer labs operated in various government hospitals of the state. There has been a significant increase in the testing facilities in district hospitals and community health centers with ‘Humar Lab’. Facilities for 120 types of tests are being provided in the Hummer Lab of district hospitals and 60 types of tests in the Hummer Lab of Community Health Centers operated by the Health Department and the National Health Mission. From April 1, 2022, a total of 57 lakh 46 thousand pathology, microbiology and biochemistry tests have been done in 16 human labs of the state.
State’s first Hummer Lab was started in February-2020 at Raipur District Hospital. Seven lakh 48 thousand 128 tests have been done here since April 1, 2022. Six lakh 96 thousand 357 in Hummer Lab of District Hospital of Far Vananchal Bijapur, six lakh 55 thousand 812 in Hummer Lab of Jagdalpur District Hospital, six lakh 52 thousand 698 in Kanker District Hospital, five lakh 48 thousand 951 in Durg District Hospital, Balod Four lakh 63 thousand 330 in District Hospital, three lakh 69 thousand 621 in Sukma District Hospital, three lakh four thousand 028 in Balodabazar District Hospital, two lakh 38 thousand 195 in Rajnandgaon District Hospital, two lakh 12 thousand 439 in Kondagaon District Hospital and Balrampur During this period, one lakh 74 thousand 589 tests have been done in Hummer Lab of the district hospital.
Two lakh 23 thousand 356 tests have been done since April-2022 in the Hamar Lab operated at Patan Community Health Center. During this, one lakh 12 thousand 839 tests have been done in Hummer Lab of Manpur Community Health Center, 70 thousand 052 in Palari Community Health Center and 17 thousand 603 in Kharsia Community Health Center. Hummer Lab is also operational in the Government Medical College located at Ambikapur from February 6 this year. From 6 February 2023 to 30 April 2023, two lakh 55 thousand 738 tests have been done there.
