Governor gave certificates to the trainees in the program organized by Red Cross

Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan presented certificates to 29 MBBS doctors from different districts of the state after completing lay-lecturer training in a program organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, Chhattisgarh branch at Raj Bhavan today. Lay-lecturer training for state practitioners was conducted for the first time by the state branch. In which he was given training in first aid and emergency treatment. This training was conducted from 11 to 17 March.
On this occasion, Governor Shri Harichandan said that human service is Madhav Seva, doctors work for this purpose. He said that doctors have an important role in the society. During the COVID-19 pandemic, doctors, nurses, health workers all served as front line warriors. He said that the Red Cross provides immediate services during times of war, natural disaster and crisis, which is commendable. He called upon the doctors to always be ready to help the deprived sections and serve the society and the nation. The Governor congratulated and encouraged all the doctors who completed the training.
CEO of Red Cross Society Chhattisgarh, Shri MK Raut said that for the first time in the state, MBBS doctors were given lay-lecturer training for first aid. These doctors will go to the districts and provide training to the volunteers of Junior Red Cross and Youth Red Cross. He said that Red Cross plans to give first aid training to some people in all the panchayats. Mr. Raut said that all the trainees have taken the training diligently. In future they will be trained as master trainers. Red Cross Chairman Mr. Ashok Aggarwal gave the welcome address in the program. Vote of thanks Secretary Red Cross Dr. Rupal Purohit did it.
On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor Mr. Yashwant Kumar, Legal Advisor Mr. Rajesh Srivastava, Master Trainer Mr. Naresh Govil, Mr. Yashwant Chandrakar and all the trainee doctors were present.
