Special interest of people visible in ‘House plan on construction cost’
Digital display also in the exhibition of Environment Protection Board in Rajyotsava
Raipur, 5 November 2022
On the occasion of Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava 2022, a stall set up under the Department of Housing and Environment in the Science College Ground campus of Raipur is attracting a lot of people. Among them, special interest is being shown by the people in ‘House on construction cost’ under the exhibition of Chhattisgarh Home Construction Board. Similarly, in the exhibition of Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board, the message of ban on single use plastic is being given attractively at the entrance itself.
At the entrance of the stall, it is very attractively written that single use plastic has been banned from 01 July 2022. The items made of single-use plastic, which have been banned, have also been mentioned by drawing a picture. The important thing is that the entire exhibition of the Mandal is digital. In digital itself, the activities, achievements, schemes and public awareness campaigns being run on various subjects have been shown.
A model of the state-of-the-art Central Laboratory being prepared by the Board has also been kept in the exhibition of the Board and information about the laboratory and its equipment is being given through a film. In the stall of the Mandal, there is a huge crowd of students along with the spectators who are putting their queries on single use plastic in front of the officers and representatives of the Mandal. It may be noted that a special award has been given to the stall of the Department of Housing and Environment in the category of best stall, which is an important achievement for the Board.
Similarly, in the exhibition of Chhattisgarh Home Construction Board under the Department of Housing and Environment, information about the plans and vacant properties of the board is being given to the people in the stalls. In the identified residential and commercial plans of the Board, special interest of the people is being seen in the ‘House on construction cost’ scheme. Under this scheme, a discount of 10 percent is being given on depositing the building value as a lump sum amount within three months and a rebate of 5 percent is being given on depositing in 6 months. The facility of instant online booking of properties is also being provided in the stalls of the Mandal. So far more than 400 interested beneficiaries have been provided information about the schemes of the Mandal in the stalls of the Mandal.
