Raipur: Hindi Day: ‘Hindi Hai Hum, Watan Hai Hindostan Hamara’, Culture Minister, everyone should respect the national language: Shri Amarjit Bhagat

Raipur, 14 September 2021. Culture Minister  Amarjit Bhagat today participated in the program “Hindi Hai Hum, Watan Hai Hindostan Hamara” organized in the meeting room of Mahant Ghasidas Museum on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Addressing the program, Shri Bhagat said that we are proud that we are born in India and Hindi is our national language. Language is the medium of thought and expression. The language is spoken by most of the people. The national language, Hindi, has united various cultures, sects. He saluted the dedicated people in the service of Hindi. Congratulations for the program organized to honor the national language Hindi.

Culture Minister Shri Bhagat said that we all should respect our national language. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, work is also being done to save the dialect, language, culture and tradition of Chhattisgarh. The state government has prepared the Chhattisgarh film policy. Surely this will give recognition to the art-culture and artists of Chhattisgarh at the national and international level. He said that Chhattisgarh would also have national and international level programs, which would provide employment to the people here.

Culture Minister Shri Bhagat informed that Chhattisgarh Film Policy has been prepared under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel. Apart from this, a film city will also be constructed in Nava Raipur. Artists, producers-directors and writers of Chhattisgarh will get better opportunities. Shri Bhagat informed that a provision of one crore rupees has been made for the films which have won the National Award in the film policy of Chhattisgarh. Along with this, a provision has been made in the film policy to give five crore rupees to the Oscar winning films. He also encouraged the producers and directors of the state to make films based on Bhakha, the dialect of the state. Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay and Chandrapur MLA Shri Ramkumar Yadav also addressed the program. On this occasion, Director of Culture and Archeology Department Shri Vivek Acharya, Producer-Director and Artist Shri Dilip Shandgi, Shri Yogesh Agarwal was present on the occasion. Cultural presentation was given by Shri Prashant Thakur and his associates on Hindi Diwas.
