Raipur, 17 March 2021. Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various construction works in various villages of Kharsia development block in Raigad district today.
On this occasion, Higher Education Minister Patel said that today the villages are turning into livelihood centers due to the public welfare policies of the government. These schemes are providing work and income to the hands of farmers, women, laborers living in villages. Various quality products are being prepared at the local level with various quantitative activities like vegetable production, poultry and fisheries, mushroom production, along with the Godhan Nyaya Yojana in Gothan. Due to this, women associated with these works are getting work in villages and their skill development is also being done. The government’s schemes like power bill half scheme, exchange of assistance with paddy for other crops, increase in support price of forest produce are giving people an opportunity to increase income along with economic relief. He said that the government is working towards starting the scheme for the landless laborers as well.
Minister Umesh Patel said that the basic infrastructure required in the villages is being rapidly developed and further development works will be done as per the demand and requirement of the villagers. During this time, various villagers kept their different problems. Higher Education Minister Patel instructed the officers to solve the problems of the villagers immediately. Higher Education Minister Umesh Patel visited the village-Aurada, Nawapara, Turekela and Tiur village of Kharsia development block today. During this, he inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various construction works at a cost of Rs 61.10 lakh.

In which the construction of water tank at a cost of Rs 12 lakh 37 thousand in village Aurada, CC road construction at a cost of Rs 5 lakh 10 thousand, interlocking (tiles road) at a cost of Rs 3 lakh 83 thousand, Rs 7 lakh 80 thousand in Nawapara CC Road construction at a cost of Rs. 10 lakhs at Turekela. CC Road, TSS godowns at Turekela at a cost of Rs. 12 lakhs, community building construction at a cost of Rs. 10 lakhs at Tiur in Gram Panchayat. Member District Panchayat Purnima Vijay Jaiswal, Member District Panchayat Smt Santoshi Rathia, Chairman Janpad Panchayat Kharsia Mahetar Oraon and various public representatives and villagers were present on the occasion.
