Raipur, 19 May 2021. School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam today released the CGBSE High School results online via video conferencing. Out of the 4 lakh 67 thousand 261 candidates, 6 thousand 168 candidates were rejected because their registration forms were found ineligible. The results of the remaining 4 lakh 61 thousand and 93 eligible candidates were declared, including 2 lakh 24 thousand 112 boys and 2 lakh 31 thousand 999 girls. All the candidates have passed. The CGBSE 10th board result was 100 percent.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam have congratulated all the candidates for the success and wished them a bright future. On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Secretary Prof. VK Goyal and officers-employees of the Board were also present.
This year, due to COVID-19 pandemic the exams of 10th board were canceled, the results were declared on the basis of internal evaluation. Candidates who did not attend the internal assessment were given minimum passing marks. In this way, all the students have passed.
Among the passed candidates, 4 lakh 46 thousand 393 students have passed with the first division, which is 96.81 percent of the total declared result. As many as 9 thousand 24 candidates have passed under second division, which is 1.96 percent of the total candidates and 5 thousand 676 candidates have passed in the third category, which is 1.23 percent of the total candidates.
Among the boys, 95.66 percent of the students have passed with first division, 2.65 percent with the second division, 1.68 percent have passed with the third division. Around 97.90 percent of the girl candidates have passed with the first division, 1.30 percent have passed with the second division and 0.80 percent girls have passed with the third division.
This year, the examination results were announced on the basis of internal assessment. Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has decided not to release the merit list this year. Hence the merit list has not been released. Moreover, the provision of recalculation and revaluation has also been eliminated for this assessment. The candidates who are not satisfied with their assessment result can appear for the division improvement in the upcoming examination.
