Arrangements are also being made to market the product of women self-help groups of the Chhattisgarh government, so that the purchase of the material prepared by the women can be done easily and the women of the group can become financially independent. Marketing centers have also been set up in several districts of the state in collaboration with the district administration for displaying and selling the products of women self-help groups. This time on the occasion of Deepawali, Bihaan Bazaar has been decorated in the premises of District Panchayat for the sale of the material produced by the women groups of Bihan by the Durg District Panchayat.
This initiative has been taken by the district administration to provide a platform for the sale of products manufactured by women of self-help groups. All the items related to Deepavali festival like Diya, wick, incense, pooja material made from Godhan will be available in Bihan Bazaar as well as decorative items, paintings, jewelery. Women of self-help groups have prepared these products with great skill. Bihan Bazaar will be open from 12 noon to 8 pm. About 40 women self-help groups have registered to take part in Bihaan Bazaar. Stalls have been built here by the district administration where these women will sell the material.
Beautiful jewelery such as bangles, earrings, necklaces etc. are available for sale in Bihan market to make home Lakshmi on Diwali festival. Traditional dishes of Chhattisgarh can also be enjoyed at Bihan Bazaar. Fara, Chila, Anarsa, Laddu, Typical Khurmi along with pickle, papad, elder, Murku etc. will also be available. Home use, soap, detergent, dish washer, phenyl, toilet cleaner, sanitizer will also be available in Bihan market. Which have been formed by women self-help groups. Thermal checking as well as sanitizer will also be available in Bihan market so that your purchase will be safe. Apart from this, Volunteers will also be present to monitor social distancing. A special appeal has been made by the district administration that all must wear masks to come to Bihan market.
