Health Minister.S. Singhdeo has appealed to the people to be careful and aware of various seasonal diseases like Monkey-pox, Kovid-19 and Swine flu as well as during the rainy season. He has said that due to the continuous seasonal changes in the rainy season, there are many types of communicable diseases. One needs to avoid this and be careful. Necessary instructions have been issued by the Health Department to all Medical College Hospitals, Chief Medical and Health Officers and Civil Surgeons in this regard. All districts have also been alerted for this.
Health Minister Singhdeo informed that a suspected case of monkey-pox had come to the fore in Chhattisgarh. After investigation, his report has come negative. There have been eight cases of monkey-pox in other parts of the country. Therefore, there is a need to be very careful in this regard. He said that 11 cases of swine flu have been identified in the state, out of which two patients have returned home from the hospital after recovering. The remaining nine patients are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Raipur. Taking cognizance of these cases of swine flu, the Health Department has issued an alert.
Shri Singhdev has appealed to the people of the state that they must use masks in crowded places. Also, follow the cleanliness of hands and Kovid-19 Appropriate Behavior seriously. Swine flu also affects the lungs like corona.
The Health Minister informed that in Sukma district, the preliminary test of water of the villages affected by kidney diseases has found excess of iron and fluoride. A sample lab has been sent to test other heavy elements in the water there, the report of which is expected in three days. Along with alerting the Sukma district administration in this regard, instructions have been given to provide relief to the affected.
