So far, more than 20 lakh quintals of Vermi Compost, Super Compost, Super Plus Compost have been produced from cow dung by women self-help groups, due to which organic farming has been promoted in the state. The purchase of cow urine will prove to be helpful in taking forward the efforts of organic farming in the state. Keeping this in mind, the purchase of cow urine is being started in the state. With this, where there will be additional income from selling cow-urine to the cattle owners, on the other hand, through women self-help groups, the production of Jivamrut, pest control products of cow-urine will provide employment and another source of income to the groups. Farmer brothers will be able to use the pest control product of Jeevamrut and cow urine instead of chemical insecticide, Due to which the cost of agriculture will be reduced. Food poisoning will decrease. Godhan Nyay Yojana has proved to be a very popular scheme in the rural areas of the state. Under this scheme, cow dung worth more than 150 crores has been purchased from the cattle rearing villagers in about two years, which has directly benefited the rural cattle rearers. An amount of more than Rs.143 crore has been paid to women self-help groups and Gauthan committees through the purchase and sale of vermi manure from cow dung.
