Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel had lunch with affection on the occasion of Pitra Navami at the house of farmer Shri Purshottam Jiram at village Kusumaksa in Daundilohara Vidhan Sabha of Balod district today. When the Chief Minister reached Shri Purshottam Jiram’s house, the family members made the Chief Minister’s house in Devravathi’s house by lighting the chowk complementar joda urn, standing in Pidhha and entering the house. When the Chief Minister entered the house, a different atmosphere was created in the house. Beautiful smiles and happiness were clearly visible in the faces of all the family members.
When the food was served to the Chief Minister, seeing the plate full of Chhattisgarhi delicacies, he ate the food. Shri Purshottam Jiram’s wife Smt. Savitribai served the food. In the Chief Minister’s plate, Luffa, Barabati, Onion Bhaji, Lal Bhaji, Kochai Leaf Curry, Poori, Bada, Kheer, Rice- Dal, Tomato Chutney, Tawa Roti, Airsa, Khurmi Saloni, Papad was served. The Chief Minister had reached Shri Purshottam’s residence here on the occasion of the Navami Pitra Milan of his late mother Late Smt. Ganeshi Bai and father Late Shri Bhagwan Ram. They sat here on the ground and enjoyed the food from a plate of phulkas on top of Pidha. The Chief Minister took food in typical Chhattisgarhi style.
