Raipur 09 June 2023, Shri Birendra Singh, the Green Commando from Balod district, who works for water and environment conservation, paid a courtesy call on Governor Shri Biswabhusan Harichandan, at Raj Bhavan here today. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also acknowledged Shri Birendra Singh’s work during a recent episode of his “Mann Ki Baat” radio programme, which was aired on May 28, 2023. The Governor commended his efforts towards tree plantation, wildlife conservation, and raising awareness about preventing forest fires.
