Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan today gave the message of cleanliness by sweeping the premises of Shri Ram Temple located on VIP Road and Shri Jagannath Temple located in Gayatri Nagar, Raipur. He urged all the citizens of the state and country to keep the temples around them clean.
Governor Shri Harichandan said that the cleanliness campaign is being run on the call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. We serve Mother Earth by keeping our surroundings clean. He said that this campaign inspires us to serve humanity. Before this, Shri Harichandan visited Lord Shri Ram and Shri Jagannath in both the temples and offered prayers and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the entire country including the state.
On this occasion, Religious Trust and Endowment Minister Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal, Raipur MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Chairman of the Temple Committee and officials were present.
