The annual general body meeting of the Indian Red Cross Society was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi under the chairmanship of President Smt. The Governor of Chhattisgarh Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan also attended the meeting. In the meeting, the last year’s income and expenditure account of the Red Cross Society was presented and the excellent performing Red Cross committees and Red Cross volunteers were felicitated. In the meeting, the CEO of Chhattisgarh Red Cross Society. Mr. M.K. Raut, Chairman Mr. Ashok Aggarwal and Secretary of the committee Dr. Roopal Purohit were also present.
After the meeting, the officials of Chhattisgarh Red Cross met Union Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya and informed about the Chhattisgarh Red Cross Committee.
