Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike planted saplings on the Raj Bhavan campus on the occasion of World Environment Day. He planted guava, pomegranate, amla, jackfruit, black berries, golden champa and amaltas plants. On this occasion, the Governor appealed to the general public for environmental protection and said that one day formality should not be done for conservation of environment, but make every effort to stop pollution. Minimally use items that harm the environment. Plantation is the right way to stop pollution. Plant trees and take proper care of the empty spaces around you.
