Raipur: Governor Ms. Uikey participated in a webinar organized by International Naturopathy Organization on the topic ‘Women’s Health and Entrepreneurship’

Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey today participated in a webinar organized under the aegis of International Naturopathy Organization and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, on the topic “Women’s Health and Entrepreneurship” in view of the upcoming International Women’s Day. In the webinar, important information was shared by experts on an unexplored topic like women’s health.
Governor Ms. Uike duly started the webinar by lighting the lamp from her residence office. Addressing the webinar, the Governor said that in the present scenario, especially after the dreadful epidemic like Kovid, people’s inclination towards Naturopathy and Yoga has increased. The pandemic has given us the message that connection with nature is the root of our existence. The efforts being made by the International Naturopathy Organization with the aim of promoting naturopathy and giving information about its positive effects are commendable. Especially on important occasions like 75th anniversary of independence and International Women’s Day, the discussion on her health apart from women empowerment is commendable. He said that the Ministry of AYUSH is doing important work to benefit people through Naturopathy system through “Rog Mukt Bharat Abhiyan”. Certainly through this the rural population of India
Governor Ms. Uike said that there is still a lack of awareness about women’s health in the society. Men and women have different health problems and health effects. Women have to face various health problems at different stages of their age. Women’s health is never seriously considered in the society. Women are more vulnerable to many diseases, for this women need to be aware. Modern research also found that medicines for women’s health problems should also be prepared according to their need. In such a situation, regular routine, natural remedies and yoga are proving to be helpful in staying healthy. Being in touch with nature makes you physically and mentally strong. It also increases immunity. She said that I have a great love for nature and have been associated with such campaigns at different times. He also appealed to the people to stay connected with their surroundings and keep it clean. During this, Governor Ms. Uike also shared her experiences on various topics related to women’s problems while holding various positions.
    The webinar was attended by Dr. Heena Gavit, MP, President of International Institute of Naturopathy, Padmashree Jaiprakash Agarwal, National President Dr. Anant Biradar, Director of National Institute of Naturopathy, Dr. K. Satya Lakshmi, Dr. Tanuja Nesari, Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi, Dr. Sangeeta Nehra, Director, AYUSH Haryana also addressed.
