Raipur, 27 September 2020. Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike today launched a specially built robot ‘Bharati’ to help Kovid-19 patients being treated in the hospital. On this occasion, the Governor said that this invention will definitely prove to be revolutionary and profitable in this crisis of Kovid-19. This will help a lot of doctors treating Kovid-19. Sometimes doctors become infected during treatment with Kovid-19, they will be able to avoid getting infected and they will be able to treat it effectively. Also, patients will also get help.

The Governor, Mr. Aditya, the young scientist of SPAR VY research initiative and V.Y. Congratulations to Dr. Purnendu Saxena, Director, Hospital. He saw Aditya ji as a youth of self-reliant India and told Dr. Saxena that you have a sense of service and work as a doctor as well as social service. It is due to this thinking that this innovation has been made possible which will be helpful for treatment for Kovid-19 and we will soon be able to free Chhattisgarh corona. Today, through this robot, His Excellency the Governor spoke to the patient admitted in the Kovid ward of VY Hospital. He asked about his condition and also asked how he felt talking to the robot? The patient said that feeling good. He advised the patient to remain positive and boosted morale.

Dr. Saxena said that our country is currently suffering from Kovid-19 infection. During the treatment of Kovid-19 patients, we realized that a device can be created that can help physicians and patients. Consequently, it has been produced by the SPAN VY Research Initiative. The team that produces it is headed by Aditya, a young engineer from BIT Raipur. He has been assisted by Ashish Sharma, Shubham Sahu and Dhananjay Puri Goswami. The team was guided by VY’s medical directors Dr. Purnendu Saxena and Dr. Anand Joshi. It took 45 days to manufacture. Anyone can operate it remotely through a smart phone. This robot can reach the patient. Through this, the patient can have direct talk with the doctor, nurse or family. His problems can be understood and his monitors can be observed. The work of carrying medicines and food etc. to the patient is possible through this. All this can happen without coming in contact. One of its features is that ultra violet lights also fit inside it. It can be sent remotely to infected areas and sterilized in that place. The specialty of this robot is that even though there is no network or a good network, doctors and their relatives can talk through video calling.
