Governor honors former cricketer Mr. Gavaskar with shawl and quince
Raipur, 13 March 2021. The delegation of Sathya Sai Health and Education Trust Raipur met courtesy the Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike at Raj Bhavan here today. Former cricketer Mr. Sunil Gavaskar and the chairman of the trust Mr. C. Srinivas were present on the occasion. The delegation invited the Governor for the foundation stone ceremony of ‘Mother and Child Care Center’ at Sri Satyasai Sanjeevani Hospital Campus Nava Raipur.
The Governor said that the work being done by your organization is commendable. Children are treated free of cost by your organization, so that children from outside the country have also benefitted. He said that after assuming the responsibility of the post of Governor, it is my endeavor that whenever any needy brings his problem to him, I should try to solve his problem at all possible.
The Governor honored Shri Gavaskar with shawl and quince and said that it is a matter of happiness for the people of Chhattisgarh that a great player like you has come to Chhattisgarh. I congratulate you on behalf of the entire Chhattisgarh people. You are the pride of our country. You have made matchless contribution towards the country through your game. The Governor also presented the insignia to Mr. Gavaskar.
Shri Gavaskar thanked the Governor and said that even before that he had come to Chhattisgarh and he was very happy to come here.
