Raipur: Government’s priority to benefit the poor and provide basic amenities: Minister Dr. Dahria

Urban Administration Minister Dr. Dahria inaugurated development works worth more than Rs 16 crore and performed Bhoomi Pujan

Raipur 28 February 2021.  Urban Administration and Development and Labor Minister, Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Dr. APJ of Municipal Council Gobaranawapara. Launched Badminton Hall, Indoor Hall, sheds, pavers and additional rooms in Abdul Kalam Cultural Building and performed sewerage treatment plant construction. He inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth about Rs 16 crore.

During this, he said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the foundation of development is being laid in the state. I am very happy that the announcement made by me a year ago has been completed today in Gobra Nawapara. Surely the people of the area will get the benefit of these works. Minister Dr. Dahria said that the players from indoor and badminton halls will get an opportunity to move forward. Sewerage treatment plant worth more than 15 crores will ensure cleanliness. He said that his department is alert for development work in urban areas. Every effort will be made to provide basic facilities to the people. Minister Dr. Dahria said that development works continued in the Corona period as well, as a result of this, recognition of the state’s schemes and many works done at the state level has increased at the national level. Cleanliness by the Government of India Chhattisgarh has been awarded in other matters including urban housing. He further said that the government is constantly supporting the urban bodies. Bodies should work towards increasing their revenue.

 

Minister Dr. Dahria urged the poor and eligible families of the region to benefit from the schemes of the government. He also informed about other schemes including peacock house-peacock sign, peacock house-peacock land, leasing, pension under Rajiv Ashraya Yojana and said that it should be given to the poor. He spoke of the separate identity of Nawapara Rajim in Raipur district. Minister Dahria encouraged the players by playing badminton, table tennis, billiards. Abhanpur MLA and former Minister Shri Dhanendra Sahu and Municipal Council President Shri Dhanraj Madhani also addressed the program. Minister Dr. Dahriya has said to prepare a steamette and give all possible support in relation to the amount sought for the development of the area.

Minister Dr. Dahria performed bhumi pujan of 15 crore 48 lakh sewerage treatment plant here and inaugurated 1 crore 20 lakh indoor hall, badminton court, sheds, pavers and additional rooms of 25 lakh rupees. During this time, Vice-Chairman of Nagar Palika Parishad Shri Chatur Jagat, CMO Shri Rajendra Kumar Patre, Councilor, Alderman and Public Representative, Sportsmen, Citizens were present.
