Raipur, 21 March 2021. Lok Sabha MP  Rahul Gandhi has said that Chhattisgarh government is at the forefront of helping farmers, poor and laborers. He said that Bhupesh government of Chhattisgarh is taking good steps one after the other. The Government of Chhattisgarh is fulfilling the promises made to the people. Lok Sabha MP  Rahul Gandhi was addressing the program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence Raipur under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and Godhan Nyay Yojana today. On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel transferred an amount of Rs 1104 crore 27 lakh to the account of 19 lakh farmers of Chhattisgarh state. This amount has been given to the farmers as the fourth installment under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, With this, a total amount of Rs 5628 crore has been given to the farmers as exchange assistance. The Chhattisgarh government has fulfilled its promise of giving 10 thousand rupees per acre of assistance to farmers by giving fourth installment today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, under the multi-pronged cattle justice scheme of the Chhattisgarh Government, more than one lakh 62 thousand cattle herders and villagers, in the last one month, the amount of cow dung purchased in the last month, directly to the amount of Rs. Transferred to account. Lok Sabha MP  Rahul Gandhi congratulated the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, cabinet colleagues and the people and farmers of Chhattisgarh for their direct assistance to the farmers, cattle rearers and villagers. MP Rahul Gandhi said that we have fulfilled our promise made to the people of Chhattisgarh. He said that the farmers of the country are in crisis, the central government is working to benefit the capitalists and industrialists by defeating the farmers of the country, whereas apart from this, the government of Chhattisgarh is working for the farmers, poor, laborers, women, youth and small traders. It is working to protect the interests and help them. The Government of Chhattisgarh has worked to strengthen the rural economy. MP  Rahul Gandhi said that I congratulate the Government of Chhattisgarh for the path taken by the Government of Chhattisgarh for the betterment of the general public.
After transferring the amount of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana and Godhan Nyaya Yojana to the account of farmers, livestock farmers and villagers, the Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel said in his address that the Government of Chhattisgarh is not forgetting the promise, but the government fulfilling the promise. I am happy that we have forgiven the farmers of Chhattisgarh, He has fulfilled the promise of waiver of irrigation tax and full value of his produce. He said that this year we have given Rs 5628 crore as agricultural input assistance to 19 lakh farmers under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. The farmers of all sections of the state have benefited from this. He said that under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, a provision of Rs. 5703 crore has been made in the budget of 2021-22 for giving assistance of Rs. 10 thousand per acre to the farmers. For the implementation of this scheme, the Chief Minister also announced the formation of a cabinet sub-committee in the program.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while referring to the Godhan Nyaya Yojana on the occasion, said that it is being appreciated all over the country. He said that the Lok Sabha committee has praised the Godhan Nyaya Yojana and suggested that it should be implemented in the entire country. The Chief Minister said that 44 lakh quintal of cow dung has been purchased so far under this scheme which started from July 20, 2020, in lieu of which 88 crore rupees have been paid to the dung vendors, livestock owners and villagers. 70 thousand 299 landless people of the state have also got the benefit of this scheme. He said that large quantity of vermicompost compost is being manufactured in the Gothans from the purchased cow dung. Farmers of the state should use vermi compost as much as possible so that the quality of agricultural produce is better, Awareness campaign is also being conducted in this regard. The Chief Minister said that every decision and plans of the Chhattisgarh Government is infusing hope in the lives of the people. Chhattisgarh farmers are at the center of our schemes. On this occasion, he announced the payment of outstanding third installment of arrears of seventh pay scale to one lakh 81 thousand government officials-employees of the state.
Addressing the program, MP  P.L. Punia said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Government of Chhattisgarh is doing a better job for the betterment of the general public. He appreciated the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana and Godhan Nyaya Yojana of the Government of Chhattisgarh and congratulated the cabinet colleagues including the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh for this. At the beginning of the program, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey gave detailed information about the help being provided to farmers, cattle rearers and villagers under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Finally, the Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, T.S. Expressing gratitude, Singhdev said that the Government of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel has assured the farmers that they will continue to get the full value of their produce.
