Raipur: Government land will be allotted for housing, business and other purposes in urban areas

Instructions given to accelerate the process of allocation to the occupiers in government land.

Raipur, 25 June 2020. Collector Dr. S. Bharatidasan reviewed the allotment of government land, free hold of Nazul land and the settlement process of encroached land, and gave necessary instructions to the officers. Such beneficiaries who have Nazul patta, such landowners can apply for free hold. So far 216 Najul patta holders have been given benefit of this in the district. 6 crore 70 lakh rupees as revenue. He has given instructions to speed up the disposal by thoroughly examining the applications received. It should also be kept in mind that all the land keeping safe from the point of view of public barrier, health protection, public convenience, public purpose and environmental protection should not be allotted.
He said that according to the development plan notified by the Town and Village Investment, the allotment of government land in urban areas and the administration of the encroached government land will be done.
It is to be known that the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has taken several important decisions to make it easy to allot government land in urban areas to the people as well as other people for residential or commercial or other purposes. Under which the state government has delegated the rights to the collector, making it easier now by making partial amendments in the provisions of section four-one and section four-2 of the Chhattisgarh Revenue Book Circular, regarding the allocation and arrangement of government land. With this, the matters of land allocation and administration at the district level will be resolved easily and quickly with complete transparency. The simplified process of land allocation will benefit the interested people, including the occupiers.
