The instructions have been given by the Chief Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh. The department can directly buy the product of Devbhog brand.
It may be mentioned here that instructions have been issued by the state government from time to time to purchase the milk and milk products of Devbhog brand produced by Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Milk Federation for use in government activities. Rule 8.4 of the Chhattisgarh Stores Purchase Rules, 2002 (as amended in 2020) – If the departmental construction units run by any department of the state government manufacture the material, then the material can be purchased from such manufacturing unit, for which it is not necessary to call a separate tender. Will happen. In this regard, instructions have been given by the Chief Minister in the past to purchase the products of Devbhog brand of Chhattisgarh Milk Federation as per the requirement in all the departments. The Chief Secretary has asked the heads of all government departments, undertakings, corporations and divisions to ensure that the above instructions are strictly followed.
