A glimpse of how Godhan Nyay Yojana is changing the lives of people was seen in Kharsia of Raigad. Women self-help groups make and sell vermicompost manure by purchasing cow dung through Gauthans. Laxmani Rathia, a resident of Jobi village of Kharsia, was also associated with this scheme and through the Ujala Mahila Self Help Group, associated herself with the Godhan Nyay Yojana.
This group sold about 600 quintals of vermi compost and earned a dividend of Rs. 2 lakh 15 thousand. Laxmani Rathia bought computers for the children with this money so that they could get better education. Laxmani, who is studying in class 10th and Bhavna studying in class 12th, removed the obstacles of resources in the path of Godhan Nyay Yojana and she thanks Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for this. Laxmani says that the schemes launched by the Bhupesh Baghel government for the poor, laborers, farmers and women are now becoming a medium of economic empowerment in Chhattisgarh and they are also a beneficiary who benefits from it.
