On the occasion of Rakshabandhan today, at the Chief Minister’s residence, the girl students of Government Abhyas Prathmik Shaala Mahasamund decorated the Chief Minister’s wrist with rakhis prepared by their own hands. The girls tied rakhis to the Chief Minister with enthusiasm and fed him sweets. The Chief Minister caressed the children and said that the image of the Dewar caste has changed due to education. This achievement is a matter of great satisfaction. He told all the children that all of you should study well and move ahead on the path of progress.

It is worth mentioning that today under the leadership of Principal Dameshwari Gajendra, school students Poorvi Dewar, Bhoomi Dewar, Neha Dewar, Pihu Bundela and Sarika Dhimar reached the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur. Seeing the girls of Dewar caste among these students, the Chief Minister caressed them and expressed affection and said that awareness towards education is bringing pleasant changes in the lives of the people of Dewar caste. This is a matter of great happiness.
District Education Officer Mohan Rao Sawant was also present on this occasion, who appreciated this effort and thanked the Chief Minister for accepting the Rakhi of the girls.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Headmistress Dameshwari Gajendra said that due to the effective steps taken by the state government, the children who once used to collect junk are now coming to school and studying. This step of these girls tying Rakhi on the wrist of the Chief Minister gives an important message towards social harmony.
