Raipur. 18 May 2021. For the control and prevention of corona infection in Chhattisgarh, 14 lakh 82 thousand 529 suspected patients have been distributed medicine kits by the Health Department. The department is providing medicines kits free of cost by the Mitannins and Surveillance teams to prompt treatment of people with symptoms of corona infection and to prevent them from getting into critical condition. The kit contains ivermectin, doxycycline, paracetamol, vitamin-C and zinc key tablets. There have been good results in providing drug kits to patients suspected of Kovid-19. This has helped in stopping the pace of infection across the state.
So far (till May 17) the health department has provided medicine kits to six lakh 25 thousand 256 people with symptoms of corona. Medication kits have also been provided to six lakh 21 thousand 809 people with its symptoms reaching the corona for examination centers and hospitals. Two lakh 35 thousand 464 persons found during active surveillance in various areas and containment zones have also been given medicines for the treatment and prevention of corona by the Mitannins and Surveillance Teams.
